The role

We are seeking a Material Test Technician to join our Quality team, where you will play a vital role in product inspection, testing and regulatory compliance. This role would suit someone who takes a meticulous and methodical approach to their work, enjoys following processes and standards, and has a keen eye for detail.

Working closely with colleagues across Manufacturing, Technical and Quality functions, you will directly contribute to delivering our high product standards, support investigations and audits, and contribute to continuous improvement activities across the business.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain wider business exposure and develop specialist knowledge in quality and product performance.

What you'll do

  • Inspect and test products against agreed quality criteria, regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Maintain accurate inspection, testing and quality records in line with company procedures.
  • Work closely with Manufacturing teams to promote quality awareness and support product conformity.
  • Manage the calibration and control of inspection and testing equipment, including liaison with external providers.
  • Support regulatory audits, assessments and product approval activities.
  • Investigate product quality issues and customer concerns, helping to identify and implement effective solutions.
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives while upholding VEKA's safety, environmental and quality standards.
